A minimalist, offline, open-source audiobook player for Android.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Raven Audiobook Player app (“Raven”, “the app”) handles your information. Raven is free, open-source software published by Emerald Realm (“we”, “us”).
Raven does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party data-collection SDKs. Everything about your library — your books, playback positions, bookmarks, and settings — stays on your device.
None. Raven does not gather your identity, your device identifiers, your location, your IP address, your usage, or any analytics. We have no servers that receive your data.
Your audiobook files, playback positions, bookmarks, covers, and preferences are stored only on your device (and in your device backups if you have enabled Android system backup). We never transmit them anywhere.
Raven requests the INTERNET permission for a single optional feature: searching online for a missing cover image. If — and only if — you choose to search for a cover, the title or search term you type is sent to the public cover-image provider in order to return results. No identifier, account, or personal information is attached to that request. If you never use online cover search, Raven makes no network calls for content.
Raven does not request location, contacts, microphone, camera, or an advertising ID.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data, because we do not collect any.
Raven is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Because the app collects no data, any changes will be minor and informational.
